The service
Spenzo is a personal money manager provided by Synops. It lets you record accounts, transactions, budgets, loans and shared expenses, and turns them into balances, trends and statements. Spenzo is a record-keeping tool. It does not move money, connect to banks, or give financial advice.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Spenzo.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account.
- Give us a working email address. We use it for sign-in, password resets and important notices.
Your data
Everything you enter stays yours. We only use it to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export it at any time and ask us to delete it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Spenzo to:
- break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
- access another person's account or data without permission;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or bypass its limits;
- copy or resell the service.
Groups
When you add an expense to a group, the other members can see it. Make sure you have the right to share what you enter. Group balances are a record of what members have agreed; settling up happens outside Spenzo.
Plans and limits
Spenzo is currently free to use. Some features, such as monthly statement downloads, have usage limits that are shown in the app. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you before anything changes for your account.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Spenzo available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If we plan to shut the service down we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.
No financial advice
Figures in Spenzo are calculated from what you enter. They are a convenience, not a substitute for your bank statements, an accountant or professional advice. Check important numbers against the source.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Spenzo is provided “as is” and Synops is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on figures shown in the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Spenzo at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use Spenzo after a change means you accept the new terms.
